BCDI Wins the 2020 Coop Innovation Award!

BCDI is one of three organizations to be honored as a grantee for the in the 6th annual Co-op Innovation Award grant. This year's Co-op Innovation Award focused on organizations educating new audiences on the impact and potential of the cooperative model to disrupt income inequality, steward community ownership, and create strong vibrant places of opportunity. Priority was given to food, worker, and housing cooperatives, but all sectors were invited to apply..

BCDI received the grant in order to seed a worker-led Integrated Pest Management cooperative in collaboration with the Democracy at Work Institute (DAWI).
