Being intentionally in relation to one another, a part of a collective, helps to not only imagine new worlds, but also to imagine ourselves differently.
— Mariam Kaba

Learning is a very social activity: it is best done with other people! In order to make real and lasting change in our Bronx and to build the kinds of businesses, organizations, and institutions that we need for real shared power and shared wealth, we will have to learn and understand the world and ourselves differently. Study groups have been a part of social change movements for generations, and are deeply democratic at their core because they show that all people, regardless of their formal education or background, can understand and shape their world when working together.
