Gisselle Morales
Gisselle Morales is the Policy Coordinator of the Planning and Policy Lab at BCDI. Gisselle was born and raised in Southeast San Diego, California. They are a first generation college graduate of Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and sociology. At Columbia University, they helped create the first college access clinics with the Undocumented Students’ Initiative and facilitated over 16 campus-wide events as co-chair of the Chicanx Caucus. They have previously worked at the Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, the Center on Poverty and Social Policy, and as a mentor for The WomanHOOD Project in the Bronx.
